woderful! i've had a Cold Sore since i was 7, my nanny passed it to me, and every time i come to bolivia for the winter, i get a cold sore the first week im here. its really frustraiting, but now that i have this website it defenitly explains why i get them.. thank you so much, i couldnt open the website for the home remedy but this article sure helped!

Alright. I've tried every remedy in the book... and for three years I've been cold sore free. Finally after tons of stress from just starting college, money complications with loans and student accounts, and my hours at work being drastically cut, I broke out... my whole lip was a cold sore. No Joke.Here's my remedy that got rid of them in just 2 DAYS:Pop 1 - 500mg pill of Lysine daily.Sterilize a needle with fire, then soak with alcohol. Pop the blisters and drain, but gently!Apply Melissa or Lemon Balm to the cold sores every 3 hours.Brew a cup of Earl Grey tea and add 30 drops of Lemon Balm to the tea bag while in the water.Let cool slightly, apply lukewarm tea bag to your lip and hold for 15 minutes. Give 5 minutes for your lip to dry. Then reapply tea bag for another 15 minutes. You can do this as often as you like before you notice results. For me it took only 4 applications.Reapply melissa every 2-3 hours.Repeat as you feel necessary.:)pop it!..hell no that wuld hurt like HELL!!D:

Let me offer my home remedy - leave it the heck alone. That's the thing that has always worked the best for me.But then you have to go places with it on your lip and its embarrassing...DUH! im a 13 year old girl..there is NO WAY that i am walking around with it on my lip!thank you you cant really go out any where because most of the time your thinking about it and people are looking at it.youre 13, and have herpes. Why are you kissing people when you are so young?Your kidding me kissing a parent drinking outta a glass many ways to get cold sores how rude to write that comment to a little girl
Yea!....geez. You don't even know her. Simply touching the wrong thing at at wrong time and rubbing your mouth will cause it..don't judge peoplei have to go to school with this on my face! :P it sucks and it hurts!
thx so muchbtw abreva works for me just put some on every 6-7 hours adn after a shower but dont use alot its like 30 bucks a tube and there like only an inch long
